Leonard Steinberg: was morning disk-jockey at WMTE (1340, Manistee) for several years in the 1950s. He left Manistee for California, where he was a newspaper reporter for the Sacramento Bee and the weekly Chico Enterprise Record. Len returned to Manistee as a reporter at the Manistee News-Advocate, later serving as Editor. Following his years at the News-Advocate, he was Editor of the Manistee County Pioneer Press for several years prior to retirement. Len passed away in March 2004.
