Roger Brandt: began his broadcasting career at WCEN (1150, Mount Pleasant) in 1956 at age 14. Roger followed Dick Wood as host of "Grooveyard" until leaving for college in 1960. He worked weekends at WCEN and also briefly managed the former WBFC Fremont, later Whitehall) for his father, Paul Brandt, while in college. After graduation from Michigan State University in '63, Roger returned to WCEN full-time as operations manager. He left WCEN in 1966 and moved to Pueblo, Colorado to purchase a radio station. Later, he owned a station in Victorville, California, before moving into Television. Currently, he is GSM for Cordillera Broadcasting's KRIS, KDF, and KAJA in Corpus Christi, Texas.
