Frank Balcer: was a staff announcer at WMTE (1340, Manistee) from 1954-56, then continued part-time doing sports play-by-play announcer for WMTE and other local stations for over 45 years. A lifelong Manistee resident, Frank graduated from St. Joseph High School in ’52. He is retired from Martin-Marietta and Morton Salt companies.
